The Meadow Roof
Landscape

The Meadow Roof

A continuation of the hillside laid across the house, seeded with the valley's own species mix.

Seed was harvested from an adjacent species-rich meadow so the roof reads as an unbroken continuation of the slope rather than a green-roof product.

It is managed by the same annual cut as the surrounding land.
