The Exposed Timber Core
Structure

The Exposed Timber Core

A visible structural grammar of columns, brackets, and plates, assembled dry and demountable.

Every connection is bolted rather than glued, so the pavilion can be dismantled and rebuilt elsewhere at the end of its life on this site.

The timber is left unfinished internally; it will lighten where daylight reaches it and darken where hands touch it.
